Position Summary

Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business, Department of Supply Chain Management, seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor with expertise in AI and sustainability to start in the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will teach Supply Chain courses and conduct research on topics related to AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and empirical analytics, with a focus on cybersecurity, sustainability, humanitarian operations, healthcare, Industry 4.0, and technology management.

Salary and Terms

Salary and terms are negotiable depending on experience.

Required Degree

Ph.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited university, conferred by the start date of the position.

Minimum Requirements

Demonstrated record of research excellence, commensurate with rank.

Desired Qualifications

Preference for candidates who conduct research on topics related to AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and empirical analytics, with broad operational interests in cybersecurity, sustainability, humanitarian operations, healthcare, Industry 4.0, and technology management.
