About the role

The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine are actively seeking a full-time faculty member to join our hematopathology program that is internationally recognized in flow cytometry and molecular technologies. Our team works in close collaboration with the CHLA Cancer and Blood Disease Institute (CBDI) to provide interdisciplinary care for pediatric patients with diverse hematologic conditions and serves as a referral center for multiple institutions and organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Research, clinical service, and teaching responsibilities are intertwined in an engaging and collegial environment.

Requirements

  • An MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree.
  • A California medical license upon hire.
  • Demonstrated excellence in applied laboratory science, translational research and education.
  • American Board of Pathology certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology, and Hematology (Hematopathology) is required.
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with Molecular Genetic Pathology certification and/or relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience and scholarly accomplishments.

Pay

  • The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000-$300,000.

  • This position is at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.
