About the role
The Department of Pediatrics, at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, is recruiting for a full-time Adolescent Medicine Pediatric faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. This is a non-tenured track position.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and subspecialty care clinical services at area hospitals, including Sunrise/Children’s Hospital, UMC/Children’s Hospital, and others as assigned.
- Offer outpatient clinical care at the UNLV Health Faculty Practice plan clinic(s).
- Participate in hospital, departmental, and university committees.
- Engage in pediatric outreach activities and advocacy.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatrics and Board Eligible or Certified in Adolescent Medicine.
- Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license.
- Malpractice insurance eligibility.
- Ability to be successfully credentialed by affiliated teaching hospitals.
