Assistant/Associate Professor, Family Medicine Physician - Rowan-Virtua SOM

About the role

The selected candidate will provide and manage direct patient care at one or more of the outpatient clinical offices located in the Southern New Jersey area. The candidate will hold an academic title and have an active role in the training and education of medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care at outpatient clinical offices in Southern New Jersey
• Hold an academic title and actively participate in medical student, intern, resident, and fellow education
• Participate in faculty development opportunities
• Collaborate on research projects with faculty and residents
• Serve as a core faculty member in the Family Medicine Residency program

Requirements

• Hold a valid NJ Medical License
• Certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Active board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Experience in family medicine or internal medicine
• Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring medical students, interns, residents, and fellows

Pay

The salary range for this position is $190,000 to $220,000, with placement within the range determined by the candidate's qualifications, professional experience, and other factors.

Schedule

Main clinical campus is located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, approximately 8 miles from Philadelphia, 1 hour from the Atlantic Ocean, and 2 hours from New York City.
