About the role
The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine seeks forward-thinking, team-oriented family physicians.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teaching medical students will be an essential part of the outpatient practice.
- Engage in the transformation of the practice into a high-quality primary care model using principles of continuous quality improvement.
- Initially, perform primarily clinical duties, with approximately 80% effort dedicated to direct patient care at the University Village Family and Community Medicine Center, UI Health Pilsen Family Health Center Lower West, and/or the University of Illinois Hospital.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- MD/DO eligible to be licensed in the State of Illinois.
- Board-certified in Family Medicine.
- Desire to practice in an academic medical center.
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree.
- Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine.
- Ability to obtain and maintain medical licensure in the State of Illinois.

Pay
The budgeted salary for this position is $175,000 to $185,000.
