Position Summary
The Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the Indiana University School of Medicine is recruiting a Basic Scientist to serve as faculty. The Scientist will be appointed as Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (with tenure or on the tenure track depending upon qualifications).

Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D. degree
- Expertise in computational approaches to gene x environment interactions and population genetics
- Experience in approaches to study complex traits of addiction (encouraged)
- Ability to perform predictive modeling and develop advanced polygenic scores
- Mentorship skills (able to mentor medical students, graduate students, residents and/or fellows in basic research)
- Secured long-term NIH funding (highly desirable)
- Collaborative abilities (demonstrated)
