Assistant / Associate / Full Professor

Job Description

The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking Ph.D.-prepared faculty members with research expertise in areas such as palliative care, pain and symptom science, bioinformatics, big data & data science, maternal & infant health, and aging.

Responsibilities

• Advance a defined program of research leading to extramural funding.
• Maintain a focused, extramurally funded program of research.
• Collaborate with and lead interdisciplinary research teams.
• Mentor early career faculty, commensurate with rank.
• Teach courses in areas of expertise.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research.
• Provide professional service to college, university, and profession commensurate with rank.

Qualifications

• PhD in Nursing or PhD in related discipline from an accredited institution by date of hire.
• Associate/Full Professors: Eligible for tenure based on demonstrated distinguished record of teaching, research, and service.
