Assistant Architectural Associate

About the role

We are an architectural firm that supports talented designers in growing their careers in a supportive and creative environment. We are seeking an Assistant Architectural Associate with 0-3+ years of experience to join our Naples and Sarasota offices.

Responsibilities

• Produce design deliverables and Revit project documentation under the direction of senior team members.
• Aid drafting and architectural documentation team under the direction of senior team members.
• Prepare for ARE exams

Requirements

• A degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline
• Proficiency in Revit, CAD, graphic design, and 3D modeling/visualization software
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and a motivated attitude to learn
• Collaborative and professional work ethic

Qualifications

• Preparedness to take the ARE exam

Skills

• Ability to prepare creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions
• Ability to participate as an integral member of the design team
• Ability to provide design support under supervision for schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• Ability to perform product research and assist team with material selections
• Ability to prepare client presentation materials using design application skills and creative ideas
• Ability to use a creative approach to perform tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organized, timely, and consistent manner
• Ability to self-check work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and compile data for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual
• Ability to provide support to tasks within project teams (may focus on individual detailed tasks)
• Ability to assist with coordination among team members and consultants
• Ability to participate in design reviews, charrettes, and pinups
• Ability to communicate openly within team and with designated team leader
