Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid the Administrator in managing and operating the facility
- Support department directors in achieving operational, clinical, and financial goals
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities
- Participate in facility surveys, audits, and inspections
- Monitor facility operations and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Support quality assurance, performance improvement, infection control, and risk management initiatives
- Support employee engagement, retention, and staff development programs
- Aid with budget monitoring and resource allocation efforts
- Address resident, family, and employee concerns and facilitate appropriate resolutions
- Attend leadership meetings, care plan meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information, including protected health information (PHI)
- Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and resident-centered care
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Administrator-in-Training (AIT) experience preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care setting, or healthcare environment preferred
- Knowledge of nursing facility operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively work with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and healthcare management systems
