Role & Responsibilities
- Delivering high-impact solutions across five core service areas: Asset Management, Organizational Health & Resilience, Economic & Financial Services, Technology & Business Intelligence, Public Outreach & Communication.
- Designing and implementing utility management and asset management plans throughout their lifecycle.
- Aiding with field assessments of infrastructure.
- Building and maintaining management tools such as structured databases, interactive business intelligence platforms, and data visualization dashboards.
- Preparing polished client-facing materials and presentations.
- Contributing to pursuit development and project scoping.
- Serving as Project Engineer/Manager for UMS engagements.
- Leading client interactions and coordinating with engineering, planning, and science teams.
- Diagnosing client needs and developing strategic, customized solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2-6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and experienced with database management tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, etc.).
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Sound ethics and adherence to Hazen’s safety, quality, and professional standards.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
