About the role

Our Asset Management team is looking for a Project Manager to support condition assessment, preventive maintenance planning, and the planning and delivery of sewer pipeline rehabilitation and renewal projects. You will also support the implementation and use of Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS).

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to, and record the design of, the project architecture, building on the initial proposal and the strategic interviews to develop a solution that meets the client's stated requirements and addresses any identified client issues.
  • Research, collate, and analyze information to identify key themes and deliver a broad range of standardized training and documentation, advice, or reports to support client projects and programs.
  • Develop and write materials that are highly visible, such as slide decks for presentations to senior management or standardized client reports.
  • Participate actively in a community of practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting to build own expertise.
  • Collate and conduct analysis of the tactical and operational information gathered through interviews and research to support the diagnosis of underlying client issues and problems and the design of single solutions.
  • Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
  • Deliver small- or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.
  • Oversee the provision of business advice of moderate complexity.
  • Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification; ability to obtain PE license preferred.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience delivering asset management programs for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

Skills

  • Technical expertise in asset management and project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee.
  • Wellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program. GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees, home exercise equipment purchases, Bicycles, Race, run & marathon entrance fees, Smoking cessation programs, Weight loss programs (i.e.—Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig), Fitbits and Fitness Tracking device.

Pay

$90,300 - $186,000 based on experience and location.

Schedule

This position can be based in most US based locations. Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.
