Asset Manager: Tenting and Production
About the role
The Tenting / Production Asset Manager ensures all tenting, structure, staging, and flooring equipment is accurate, up-to-date, and meets Bright’s quality standards to optimize and exceed customer satisfaction. You will standardize equipment and procedures, track and manage inventory, and collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless transitions from customer orders to installation.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Asset Team to manage, report, and catalog all tenting, structure, staging, and flooring equipment across all regions, including transfers, orders, and damages.
- Ensure transfer tickets of tenting equipment are completed accurately and timely in collaboration with Asset Managers and Coordinators.
- Communicate tenting availability to Sales and Operations teams, troubleshoot discrepancies, and minimize overbooking.
- Conduct meetings with Sales, Assets, and Operations teams for accurate planning and optimal usage of tenting equipment.
- Create standardized processes for repair and maintenance (R&M), material handling, quality control (QC), grading, and removal of equipment.
- Ensure quality control of all tenting equipment, updating inventory pricing, quantity, and QC as needed.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and yearly cycle counts of tenting inventory.
- Analyze quarterly and annual reports to forecast future purchasing and utilization needs.
- Review the Regional Overbooking report with Asset Managers.
- Assist with large tenting jobs to ensure seamless transitions from Sales to Operations.
- Innovate and implement new ideas for optimal tenting standardization across the team.
- Create and run quarterly reports to update upper management on utilization and opportunities.
- Work closely with the Network Asset Manager to identify and procure purchases.
- Collaborate with Tent, Structure, and Floor Teams to identify best practices and new products.
- Implement best practices and standard procedures with Tent Leads at each location.
- Take full ownership of all tenting/flooring products, ensuring proper RC codes, building and completing tent kitting, and maintaining/adding new codes/kits as required.
Requirements
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
- 3-5 years of experience in Inventory Management.
- Tenting, structure, or flooring experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Computer/technology literate, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom.
