Asset Manager - Austin, TX
Description
The Asset Manager will report to the Head of Asset Management and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of distressed and underperforming real estate assets. This individual will partner closely with third-party operating partners while driving strategic initiatives that enhance portfolio value and performance.
Oversee and hold third-party operating partners accountable for operational and financial performance across the portfolio.
Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance metrics to provide leadership with clear portfolio insights.
Lead acquisitions and dispositions, including underwriting, due diligence, market analysis, and transaction execution.
Identify and implement value-enhancement, repositioning, stabilisation, and exit strategies for underperforming assets.
Prepare investment memorandums, asset business plans, annual budgets, and ongoing performance reviews.
Monitor market trends, leasing activity, capital markets, and comparable transactions to inform investment decisions.
Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, and external stakeholders on capital expenditure initiatives, leasing matters, and portfolio reporting.

- Strong experience with asset management, particularly in the multifamily sector.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting for asset performance.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for asset management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
