Asset Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the financial performance and strategic planning of a commercial and multifamily real estate portfolio. This individual will help maximize asset value through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting for a portfolio of assets.
• Analyze results and provide strategic recommendations to enhance value.
• Partner cross-functionally to support capital planning, reporting, and investment decisions.
• Prepare performance updates and valuation analyses for stakeholders.
• Develop property business plans, financial models, and hold/sell analyses.
• Review leasing proposals and evaluate their financial impact.
• Monitor capital projects, cash flow, investor distributions, and portfolio performance.
• Support refinancing, recapitalization, acquisition, and disposition initiatives.
• Communicate with leadership, lenders, investors, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, or investment roles.
• Real estate or asset management experience preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ARGUS.
• Effective communicator with experience presenting to leadership or external partners.
• Experience working with lenders or institutional investors preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
