Asset Manager

Our client is a leading national financial services firm specializing in real estate financing and investment solutions for clients nationwide. The Asset Manager will join our client’s Asset Management team to monitor the risk of multifamily loans and work closely with borrowers and property management agents to identify and create solutions for emerging risks. This is a Full-time, Remote, Direct Hire opportunity with a salary range of $85,000 to $110,000. Responsibilities Monitor the risk profile of a portfolio of performing and watchlist-rated multifamily loansServe as the responsible party for all related deliverables or communications between internal and external customersMonitor borrower compliance with loan documents to ensure loan covenant compliance requirements are managed effectivelyWork with borrowers, property management agents, and external and internal parties to identify and create solutions to credit weakness, emerging risks, performance defaults, and monetary defaultsSolicit property operating statements and perform financial statement analysisPrepare action plans and/or recommendations on troubled assets for presentation to senior management and investorsPerform and/or review property site inspections to ensure appropriate maintenance practices by borrowers (as required)Prepare risk rating recommendations and transfer recommendations for assets within the assigned portfolioAssist with routine borrower consent requests within the assigned portfolio (as required)Other responsibilities and duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in multifamily real estate with emphasis on risk/financial analysis, valuations, relationship management, workouts, capital markets, or asset managementExperience working with Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac multifamily loans is a plusUnderstanding of loan documentation and real estate on a business levelFirm understanding of the multifamily market to identify softening and deterioration across an assigned portfolioFamiliarity with third-party reports such as Physical Condition Assessments, Appraisals, and Broker Opinions of ValueProficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and ExcelFamiliarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a plusGood organizational skillsStrong verbal and electronic communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a teamStrong sense of urgency about solving problems, meeting challenging deadlines, and achieving critical goals Pay range and compensation package Hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Can be remote for candidates not local to an office.
