Asset Management Technician

About the role

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Asset Management Technician to join their team onsite in Plano, TX and provide end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory room while registering newly received printers, monitors, accessories with asset tags into the system
• Manage printer servers and IP addresses for printers
• Process defective printers and monitors repairs through a repair service vendor
• Disposal of aged printers / monitors/ accessories through disposal vendor, and remove asset from the client database
• Provide phone and email user support
• Deployment and retrieval of printers, monitors, accessories to users onsite/remote office
• Provide support for and maintenance of printers and monitors

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Excel for database management, creating charts and pivot tables
• Experience using ticketing system such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc. to track and monitor assets
• Good communication and customer support skills
• Must be organized / detail-oriented

Pay

The rate for this position is between $20.25 - $27.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
