Assessment Tech. Coordinator

About the role

Department: PROV Office of Institutional Research Assessment and Analytics (OIRAA). The Assessment Technology Coordinator supports the university's assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement efforts by providing user support, training, and basic administration for RCampus. The position works with faculty, staff, and campus partners to promote effective use of the assessment platform and ensure accurate documentation of student learning, program review, unit effectiveness, and accreditation activities. The University of South Carolina system comprises eight institutions and 20 locations across the state, serving more than 50,000 students, with a strong emphasis on service and building healthier, more educated communities.

Responsibilities

Provide user support, training, and basic administration for the RCampus assessment platform. Work with faculty, staff, and campus partners to promote effective use of the platform. Ensure accurate documentation of student learning, program review, unit effectiveness, and accreditation activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in higher education, educational technology, instructional design, data/analytics, or a related field.
• Prior experience providing front-line support or training for a learning management system, assessment platform, or similar educational technology.
• Familiarity with basic reporting from educational systems (e.g., exporting data, running standard reports) and with regional or specialized accreditation expectations.
