Assembly Technician II (1st Shift)

Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical assemblies & sub-assemblies.
- Leak tests using hand and power tools.
- Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
- Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy.
- Interacts with management and team members for effective communication.
- Performs standard testing and minor/major troubleshooting.
- Maintains quality standards throughout assembly process.
- Ensures consistent attendance for reliable manufacturing output.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/cleanroom environment or a combination of education and experience.
- Cable and harness assembly experience a plus.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform repetitive assembly operations.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate terminals and software.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Some technician coursework and/or AA technical degree or equivalent experience.
Skills
- Related experience in a non-manufacturing environment considered.
- Ability to read and interpret written information and follow directions.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform basic and repetitive assembly operations.
- General knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate computer terminals and general software applications.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Pay
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $19.86 and $29.76/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including variable pay and discretionary awards.
