Assembly Tech

About the role

Sentry Equipment, a subsidiary of ProMach’s Systems business, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling machinery components and ensuring they meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions for machinery.
• Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components for industrial machinery.
• Use hand and power tools to drill, tap, bolt, and secure machinery parts together.
• Align and adjust components to ensure proper function and fit.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to verify accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Identify and resolve assembly issues through troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Work with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate builds.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency and safety.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in mechanical assembly is a plus.
• Experience in assembling industrial machinery or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery assembly processes.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Pay

• Base salary range: $21.50 - $31.00
