Assembly Team Lead

The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the assigned production area, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met. Continuous improvement, integrity, team alignment, and a desire to achieve are of the utmost importance in helping us achieve our mission which is to continually make Dill the best in the business.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading small teams of associates in all aspects of safety, quality, housekeeping, production and production reporting within their area of responsibility.
• Read & understand prints and manufacturing orders.
• Understand containment procedure (TS-WI.8.3-04) statistical control process charts
• Correctly use electronic scales and required gauges.
• Use production report to schedule operators.
• Perform setups for operators.
• See that all jobs are set up properly with all things necessary to do the job, including components and paperwork.
• Print and verify labels for MO’s.
• Order components from warehouse.
• Pull finished pallets to warehouse.
• Scan product into warehouse location and move product from one area to another.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic level of computer literacy, basic mechanical and basic math skills.
• Sit, walk or stand (concrete flooring and changing temperatures).
• Be able to work closely with coworkers.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision.
• Machine setup experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
