Assembly operator 3rd shift

Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 3rd shift Assembler to oversee the complete assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup through final testing.

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load and position valves into assembly fixtures with precision
• Transport valves to designated workstations efficiently
• Ensure production targets are consistently achieved
• Immediately notify the supervisor of any assembly supply shortages
• Carefully interpret and adhere to instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders
• Skillfully operate assembly and torque tools
• Inspect defective valves and conduct repairs to meet required specifications
• Report incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic math proficiency and strong reading and writing skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Good motor skills
• Mechanical aptitude and solid understanding of manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• Experience with TPM and SMED methodologies is preferred
• Familiarity with quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams
