Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
- Follow standardized work instructions
- Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
- Observe general and specific safety rules, including operating light curtains and other safety devices while machines are in operation
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
- Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to production, scrap, and downtime
- Rework and repair defective parts as needed
- Ensure the quality of product produced and identify any non-compliant component parts
- Affix proper labeling to finished goods containers
- Assure proper packing of finished goods
- Able to train others as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills Required
- Must be able to use and read various measuring devices
- Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
- Understand multiple types of assembly machine functions
- Have problem-solving knowledge and ability
- Be exposed to lean manufacturing principles
- Have attention to detail and a quality frame of mind
Background Required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 10 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Excellent reading, writing, communication, and math skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Pay
Monday-Friday (Sunday-Thursday start time): 11pm-7am, 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.
