Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company safety policies and procedures.
  • Document assembly processes and report production data accurately.

About the role

Swing shift Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on a 5x8 schedule. Location: Phoenix, Arizona. Reports to: Production Supervisor. Impact: Ensures precise assembly and adherence to quality standards supporting Honeywell’s commitment to reliable and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing roles, preferably at a level 2 or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
  • Experience with quality control processes and the ability to identify defects or assembly issues.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments used in assembly.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Swing shift Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on a 5x8 schedule.
