Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to support all aspects of assembly for legacy and NPI programs, focusing on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and new technology development.

Responsibilities

• Technical troubleshooting
• Developing work instructions
• Designing tooling
• Reviewing engineering drawings
• Leading process improvements to enhance productivity
• Supporting equipment upgrades
• Authoring procurement documents
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Participating in cross-functional meetings

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly
• Strong communication skills
• CAD proficiency
• The ability to interpret engineering specifications

Desired Skills

• CATIA V5
• Aerospace background
• GD&T
• Lean Manufacturing experience
