Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Major employer in the greater Morristown / Dandridge area has immediate opening for an Assembly / Manufacturing Engineer. This is a high-volume, fast-paced operation with a mix of state-of-the-art automation and manual processes. The employer is well‑established in East Tennessee and offers a good work environment along with a strong salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Assist on projects to continue automating production lines.
• Work on process capability studies, control plans, and PFMEA documentation.
• Write technical work instructions for equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Preferred: BS Engineering degree.
• Alternative: AS Engineering degree with at least 5 years of engineering experience in high‑volume manufacturing.

Skills

• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
