About the role
The Assembler C is responsible for performing a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks. This includes skilled hand assembly work as well as operation of automated production equipment. The Assembler must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and related documentation.
Responsibilities
- Follow established methods and sequences to perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and mechanical assembly.
- Perform equipment setups and adjustments, ensuring all work meets blueprint and tolerance requirements.
- Perform soldering and mechanical assembly tasks with precision.
- Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, and cable harnesses.
- Follow technical specifications, engineering drawings, and process instructions.
- Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Skills
- Fully proficient individual contributor with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Serves as a resource for peers and may provide guidance in areas of expertise.
- Strong fine-pitch soldering skills.
Schedule
9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.
