Assembler Technician
About the role
As an Assembler I, you will put together various parts based on mechanical and/or electrical prints and other visuals using both hand and power tools. You will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct our mechanical and/or electrical products as part of the Manufacturing team, reporting to a Team Leader. This role emphasizes safety, quality, timeliness of delivery, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge to identify parts that do not meet industry standards through testing and visual inspection throughout the build process.
- Modify various parts using both hand and power tools to meet the needs of each specific build.
- Maintain appropriate communication with supervisor to ensure efficient and timely production.
- Complete and submit time costing sheet documentation each day with relevant service, project, and billing information.
- Maintain a professional manner to enhance the company’s image with customers.
- Follow safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Clean working area prior to leaving each job.
- Attend and participate in departmental or company meetings.
- Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Work with direct supervision.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
