Assembler - Manufacturing

Role: Assembler/Tester responsible for assembling, testing, and verifying fiber optic cables and transceivers. Key Responsibilities Assemble parts using hand tools, equipment, and fixtures to create complete units.Verify finished components meet specifications through measurement and inspection.Perform various assembly phases including testing, polishing, and packing.Troubleshoot and repair nonconforming assemblies to ensure compliance.Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and procedures.Conduct functionality tests, record results, and interpret test data.Set up, calibrate, and change test platforms safely and accurately.Handle materials safely in an ESD environment. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow instructions and perform basic math.Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings, and procedures.Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.Experience with test equipment and troubleshooting.
