Our SDG team in Salt Lake City, UT is looking for an Assembler II to join their dynamic team on second shift. You will join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team, reporting directly to our Assembly & Test Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment.

Schedule

Hours will be 3pm - 12am Monday through Thursday, 3pm - 11pm every other Friday. This position follows a 9/80 schedule, including every other Friday off.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
• Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Cross training on multiple production lines

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems desired
• 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required; Aerospace experience preferred
• Attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center
• Ability to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and verbal
• Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office

Pay

Salary Range for Salt Lake City, UT: $21.00–$25.00 per hour.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, and many region-specific benefits.
