Assembler II

About the role

We're looking for a key member of the Operations team who can assemble, inspect, and package medical device products in a controlled environment. The ideal candidate will work in Plymouth, but may be open to relocating to another site within 15 miles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble materials, manufacture medical devices, and test products for functionality and quality.
• Complete lot history records (LHR) during manufacturing and inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Handle raw and finished goods materials, facilitate their movement within the plant, and ensure compliance with quality standards and production schedules.
• Assist with process and product qualification activities; conduct regular inventory checks.
• Show constant attention to detail and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Conduct quality self-inspections of all assemblies processed.
• Understand and adhere to Laborie's quality system policies and procedures.
• Comply with company policies regarding punctuality and availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational certificates preferred but not required.
• Experience with medical device manufacturing in a cleanroom.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety guidelines, and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Knowledge of good documentation practices, GMP, CGMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods and work at a cleanroom table height ranging from 30"-40" in a sitting or standing position.
