Assembler II
Your mission
To assemble hydraulic lift gates and/or truck mounted forklifts while following quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Completes assembly process within required Takt time
- Uses overhead crane to lift heavy component parts
- Maintains standard quality of their assembly work, i.e., the component parts have been assembled correctly per the standard work instruction for that assembly station, there are no missing parts, no loose nuts, screws or bolts
- Performs quality checks
- Identify defective or non-conforming parts and handle them according to the internal process
- Completes all the required documentation promptly and correctly
What we are looking for
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Ability to read BOM’s and prints
- Ability to use various hand & power tools
- Ability to lift 40 lbs consistently
- Ability to stand, lift, squat, bend, climb onto/into a forklift and perform manual tasks for extended periods
