Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking an Assembler I (2nd shift) - Packing at our Reno, NV facility.
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $20.47 plus a $0.50 shift differential per hour.
Schedule
Core hours are 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Responsibilities
- Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components
- Use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices
- Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams
- Pick, pack, and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise
- Maintain work areas clean and safe
- Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:
- Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas
- Track and sustain all visual management tools such as layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools
- Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events
- Perform other various duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered (Active-Duty Military Service member candidates exempt from the geographical area limitation)

Skills
- Ability to stand on feet continuously during working shift with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas)
- Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity
- Exposure to oils, lubricants, and solvents
- Fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure
