Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems, components, subassemblies, and wiring using basic hand tools.
- Assist in reading and interpreting schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders to determine basic assembly steps.
- Position, align, and adjust parts and assemblies to ensure proper fit prior to wiring or fastening.
- Drill or tap holes in specified locations to mount components or provide openings for wiring.
- Use basic measuring tools (torque wrenches, torque screwdrivers) to verify part dimensions or fit.
- Report missing parts, defects, or assembly issues to leads or supervisors promptly.
- Participate in peer-to-peer build reviews to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Support more complex assemblies under guidance and assist other departments as needed to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of six months to 1 year manufacturing or related experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented
- Understand hardware, parts and some tool knowledge
