Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, assemble, disassemble, refinish, reassemble, perform final assembly, inspection, and ready various firearms for quality testing.
- Product assembly includes piece part preparation, slide assembly, frame assembly, configuration modification, various firearm assembly, product packaging, and magazine assembly.
- Perform all department-related assembly tasks as directed by the department Lead/Supervisor or an appointed representative.
- Interpret and comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Use small hand tools and machinery requiring manual dexterity and basic safety awareness.
- Participate in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintain working area in good condition.
- May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
- May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
- Participate in all required activities, and other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience & Skills
- High school diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No previous experience typically required.
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to demonstrate a continued desire to learn and interpret information clearly and accurately.
- Some experience reading drawings is helpful.
- Ability to work in a team environment, share information, respect, and assist other team members.
