About the role
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Assembler - 3rd Shift (Transformers).
Responsibilities
- Production of all types of 3-phase transformers in a continuous flow environment to meet agreed upon customer service requirements.
- Perform various job functions at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality.
- Read and interpret shop specifications (shop drawings, process sheets, and measuring equipment).
- Follow standard work and visual operating procedures to complete tasks.
- Build sub-assemblies per OPS and quality standards required in the final assembly using calibrated tooling.
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping departments to ensure product completion and timely shipment.
- Conduct ratio testing on units and troubleshoot any potential problems to complete ratio tests.
- Move units using overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military.
- Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $24.45 + $2.50 shift differential per hour.
Schedule
The hours for this shift are; 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.

Sign-on bonus
This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000* paid in two installments, less applicable withholding.
Qualifications Required (Basic)
- Minimum of 6 months of experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military.
- Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
