About the Role

The Assembler performs routine electronic and mechanical assembly operations, interpreting blueprints, work instructions, and engineering documents to assemble and inspect components, subassemblies, and final products.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety regulations and use personal protective equipment.
  • Assemble components to configured products per instructions and drawings.
  • Perform rework and incorporate engineering change notices as needed.
  • Hand solder and inspect circuit boards, verifying quality at each step.
  • Operate material handling and assembly equipment.
  • Train and support other team members.
  • Ensure productivity and quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related assembly experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong blueprint reading, hand tool, and measurement skills.
  • Effective communication and basic computer skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • IPC-610 and J-STD 001 certification.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Work is performed in a production environment, requiring standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and visual acuity for detailed inspection. Employees must adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate equipment.
