Assembler - 1st Shift

About the role

Our client in Madison is growing and looking to add Full-Time Assemblers to their production team. If you enjoy hands-on work and want a schedule that fits your life, this could be a great match.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 6:30am-3:30pm Monday–Thursday & 6:00am-12:00pm Friday

Compensation

• $17.50/hour
• Time-and-a-half for all hours worked beyond 40 in a week

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery and / or computers.
• Troubleshoot production line machinery.
• Perform equipment change-overs.
• Responsible for quality control
• Make adjustments, as necessary, to product within specifications.
• Reject product outside of specifications.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of operating equipment and machines.
• Basic reading, writing and verbal communication skills required, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow Standard Operating Procedures
