How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an Assembler, you will assemble all heater unit product codes and fabricate necessary components as required per work order, blue print, and engineering specification.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
- Lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
- Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
- Attaches breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
- Hydro tests per specification.
- Paints product as necessary.
- Installs and wires Thermostats and other options.
- Fabricates bussing, and sells connections.
- Tests and adjusts electrical components.
- Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervision or engineering to clarify assembly problems.
