Assembler 1 - 2nd Shift
About the role
The Assembler 1 position is available on the 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Base pay starts at $17.75 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.
Responsibilities
- Put together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics
- Verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality check completed items
- Manage parts inventory
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures
- Able to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail
- Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- Able to train other/new associates
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
- Assemble and fabricate product using company-supplied hand and power tools
Qualifications
- Experience with Staple guns, drills, etc preferred
- Must be able to bend, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
