Assembler 1 - 2nd Shift

Essential Job Functions And Accountabilities

• Performing general hand assembly
• Operating Bench Master punch press
• Operating air press assembly
• Working in butt hinge assembly, involving installing bushing, pin installation, using hand and air assembly with a two hand trip machine
• Operating various two hand trip machines to finish pieces through hand assembly
• Packaging of materials with proper labeling to be shipped
• Striving to meet daily quotas for the various functions
• Ensuring quality checks are performed and documented
• Performing daily safety checks and documenting
• Performing job duties in a safe manner
• Maintaining workstation in neat and clean condition
• Absorbing assistance from other workers with specific tasks as requested

Qualifications

• Good dexterity
• General Math skills
• Ability to read and follow job instructions
• Ability to read blueprints (a plus)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
