Asphalt Plant Laborer/ Groundman

About the role

APAC-Atlantic, part of CRH’s South Division, is a leader in the production of high-quality hot mix and warm mix asphalt, serving the Coastal Georgia and Low Country South Carolina markets for over 70 years. Our goal is to finish projects on time and on budget while ensuring the use of materials and construction methods that last.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general duties at an asphalt plant including shoveling, moving materials, and maintaining good housekeeping while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company safety and performance standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, and pass a required physical examination.
• Experience working around asphalt and/or construction equipment is preferred, but not required.
• No driver's license required.
