Responsibilities
- Clean or prepare sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Assist co-workers in servicing, repairing, and adjusting various pieces of equipment
- Shovel dirt, gravel, and asphalt
- Load, unload, or identify materials or tools, distributing them according to specifications and direction from supervisor
- Notify department leaders of any potential safety or equipment issues immediately
- Follow processes and procedures correctly
- Wear appropriate clothing, shoes, and personal protective equipment
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned and assist other craft workers
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Able to work in various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, rain, and snow
- Able to repeatedly walk up and down steep and rough terrain carrying construction materials
- Can-do attitude
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
