Pay & Benefits

• Pay: $22.10 to $35.15+ per hour, depending on experience
• Frequent overtime and travel pay ($75–$85/day)

Responsibilities

• Pre-shift team preparation for paving operations
• Organize tools and equipment (rakes, shovels, etc.) for the shift
• Assist with setup of paving machines and associated equipment
• Operate or assist in paver/rake/roller work as assigned
• Perform manual tasks (shoveling, raking, brooming, etc.)
• Assist with traffic control as needed
• Support equipment operators and team members
• Perform minor equipment cleaning and maintenance
• Maintain high safety standards and teamwork

Required Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Able to safely lift/move 50+ lbs and perform manual labor outdoors in variable weather
• Able to work overtime, nights, and occasional weekends
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods
• Travel and work out of town (up to 4–5 days per week)
• Punctual with strong work ethic and attendance
• Able to work as part of a team
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt or heavy highway construction
• General knowledge of construction safety, materials, tools, and equipment
