Aspen Grove Finance Manager
The Finance Manager oversees the management and reporting of all financial data for BYU Aspen Grove, Timp Lodge, and Spring Haven. They are tasked with preparing, examining, and analyzing department accounts and financial records to ensure compliance with financial reporting and other standard procedures. In addition, they provide financial and managerial oversight of the Store and Arts & Crafts at Aspen Grove.
- Manage and administer a multi-million-dollar departmental budget, including forecasting, allocation, strategic planning, and financial reporting
- Provide financial guidance to leadership through cash flow analysis, funding assessments, cost-saving initiatives, and corrective action planning
- Serve as the department’s lead Workday administrator
- Direct monthly and annual accounting operations, including deposits, reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reviews, and financial close processes
- Oversee payment operations, including online storefront revenue collection, reservation payments, bankcard processing, chargebacks, and refunds
- Oversee all financial aspects of running the Store and Arts & Crafts (i.e., point of sale operations, credit card processing, etc.)
- Direct the Store and Arts & Crafts personnel and assure quality of work
- Responsible for selecting and maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
- Assist with department hiring as needed
- Support student-led staff training and onboarding, in coordination with Programs and Recruiting managers and coordinators
- Participate in staff training and mentoring as needed
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Bachelor’s degree in business
- Preferred: Master’s degree in business
- 2+ years of finance/accounting experience

Pay Grade
Pay Grade: 53
Typical Starting Pay: $73,000 – $95,000
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
