About the role

The ASP Student Apprentice program is designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities for students interested in early childhood education and care. This position offers a unique chance for students to gain practical experience while supporting Eastvalley-ASP's mission.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing educational activities for children aged 3-5 years old.
• Support teachers in creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Help manage classroom supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Engage with children through play-based learning activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a related field of study (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Child Development).
• Pass a background check.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with children and adults.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Interest in working with young children and a passion for education.
