About the role
South College is one of the nation’s fastest-growing institutions of higher learning. The ASN Program Coordinator supervises all aspects of the Associates of Science in Nursing program, including organization, administration, continuous review, planning, compliance, development, implementation, and general effectiveness. The role includes instructor supervision, teaching in an assigned area, working with faculty to promote continuous improvement of instruction quality, faculty training and development, and coordination and administration of the academic program for achievement of student outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of the ASN program, including organization, administration, and continuous review.
- Plan, develop, and implement program improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Supervise and evaluate faculty performance.
- Teach in an assigned area within the program.
- Promote continuous improvement of instructional quality.
- Provide faculty training and development.
- Coordinate and administer the academic program to achieve student outcomes.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher.
- Unrestricted RN license to practice in Georgia or in one of the eNLC compact states.
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level, specifically in an Associate Degree Nursing program.
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning.
