Responsibilities
- Perform ASME code welding on pressure vessels, piping, and structural components
- Use FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAW for welding
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld procedures
- Complete ASME weld logs and quality documentation
- Pass non-destructive testing (NDT) for pressure-retaining welds
- Use overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts safely
- Inspect and repair welds to meet code and quality standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience welding pressure vessels or pipe (FCAW required)
- High school diploma or trade school certification (welding preferred)
- Ability to pass on-site weld qualification testing
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and documentation
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, particularly in pressure vessel fabrication. Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel-based alloys is essential. Candidates must also be able to pass the on-site weld qualification testing.
Skills
Hands-on, high-skill welding experience, proficiency in various welding techniques, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and strong attention to safety and quality are all key skills for this role.

Pay, Bonus & Benefits
- $29.79/hr. starting pay with structured wage progression
- Shift Differential: Additional $3.00 per hour for qualifying shifts

Schedule
Rotating shift operation with overtime opportunities as needed.
