Asbestos Insurance Coverage Attorney

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and active U.S. bar license
• 5 plus years of direct asbestos insurance coverage and/or asbestos defense litigation experience required
• Recent, hands on ownership of asbestos matters
• Absorption of asbestos experience clearly detailed within role descriptions, not summaries
• Experience managing complex, high exposure matters

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive asbestos coverage analysis, including policy interpretation and long tail exposure issues
• Manage complex, high exposure asbestos litigation portfolios
• Develop and execute litigation and resolution strategies
• Direct and oversee outside counsel, including strategy and budgets
• Partner with internal teams across claims, reinsurance, and finance
