Asbestos Litigation Attorney

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an experienced Asbestos Litigation Attorney in their Chicago office. Ideal candidates should have an active Illinois bar license and three to eight years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily with attorneys in the Complex Torts business unit
• Experience with all phases of civil litigation in toxic tort spaces
• Conducting factual investigations and discovery
• Preparing pleadings
• Taking depositions
• Engaging in discovery
• Substantive motion practice specific to Illinois state and federal courts

Requirements

• Active Illinois bar license

• Competitive compensation ranging from $180,000 to $250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position is $180,000 to $250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
