AS/400 COBOL Developer

About the Role

Develop, maintain, and support business-critical AS/400 COBOL and RPG-based applications, adding strong legacy support to the team's technical arsenal.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance AS/400 COBOL and RPG/RPGLE applications.
• Work with DB2 databases: create and maintain data models, troubleshoot and tune advanced SQL performance issues on the iSeries platform.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex batch processing and interactive application issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and modernization teams to integrate AS/400 applications with modern distributed systems.
• Implement continuous integration/deployment processes specific to the IBM i environment.
• Apply Agile principles (Scrum or Kanban) in daily workflows.
• Utilize standard MS Office tools and general office machines.

Pay

$90,000–$110,000 a year
